Is it possible that they weren't asked or considered? If you look at their resumes objectively, does it suggest that they would be capable FBS coaches?

Wasn't there a coach who changed teams and famously sent a private jet to pick up his former staff to join him at his new gig, but no one got on the plane? Wonder what that coach is up to these days. . . .
