The results of Ken Pomeroy's first ever "H.U.M.A.N." poll recently came out.  It's essentially several hundred of his subscribers ranking Division I in accordance with the Bradley-Terry algorithm.  In the H.U.M.A.N. poll, Stanford is...... wait for it............ #96.

But hang on.  Before you assemble yourselves into a Fire Haase mob and charge the Arrillaga Center, Mr. Pomeroy had this to say (he has Stanford at #42 in his own pre-season rankings, by the way):

On the flip side, Colorado will get some top 25 consideration by the AP voters, but they could barely crack the top 50 here. And Northwestern (#62) and Stanford (#96?!) seemed to be judged more on their reputation than what’s on their roster.
