Too bad we are not playing on FRIDAY night -- that seems to be our zone.
Well -- Pac12 After Dark, but on ESPN.
This will not be as big a slap as USC (56-10) because UCLA lacks a seasoned QB...
But, they bring two Major Strengths that are a MORE LETHAL COMBO:
1) A much better Defense than Troy; Utes and Bruins are best defenses in Pac12.
We (and others) have proven that Buffs have the WORST defense in the Pac-12. Ominous.
2) A potent three-headed Bruin rushing attack which is very difficult for us to slow down. How do we achieve stops?
We don't. Instead, we need to unleash the Kraken (double blitz) and take chances to shake the Frosh QB Dante Moore into Turnovers.
The big problem will be forcing UCLA into "third and long". Hence, our 17 point (large) HomeDog status.
We also need to keep the ball longer -- and that means "more Cowbell": throw to TEs,
because UCLA will now double team Superman Ayomanor on every down.
Despite our blessed Reunion Weekend...
I think UCLA puts up 38 to 16 (3 x Karty, Ayomanor), if we get a couple turnovers.
We might have ZERO at half, but don't spot the Bruins 29 -- OK?
