Great write up
I’m of the opinion that our average play has far improved from let’s say a low point of USC
However we’re still dogged by the backbreaking outlier mistakes
A very dumb costly penalty at the worst moment
A totally missed block that if made would have prevented a sack, or sprung our runner for a big gain instead of maybe 2 yards
A dropped pass that is caught 9 outta 10 times
It’s almost like we really don’t need to play any better, just need make fewer mistakes, and especially not at crucial moments
Then game score gets better & wins more possible
