This is off topic but I'll put it here for lack of a better place. Haley Cavinder announced she is transferring to TCU as a grad student. Emma-Nnupu and some other big time players transferred to TCU (NIL running rampant?) so Cavinder may find herself warming the bench.
Article came out today but I don't see her on the TCU roster so not sure if Cavinder didn't get on this year's published school roster in time.
"As a businesswoman, she’s excited to see what type of opportunities there might be in the portal", Jeff Hoffman, Haley’s agent, told On3.
The priorities seemed to have gotten a little messed up in college sports. I wonder what her TCU teammates think of the businesswoman's reasons for joining the team.
They won’t care if she helps them win . FYI, I see where Agnes had a double double in one blow out win. 14 points, ten rebounds, four steals and three assists. Not agsijstt great competition but one heck of a stat line
as long as we're writing about transfers out, indya nivar is the back-up point guard at unc.
in the close second game against davidson, she had 7 points, 4 rebounds, no assists in 14 minutes.
in the blow-out first game win against gardner-web she had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, 2 steals in 23 minutes. and this highlight-reel buzzer beater
