In celebration of the last Pac-12 Stanford vs. Cal Big Game, I thought I'd ask a question about Stanford Stadium.

When Stanford Stadium was opened in 1921, it had 60,000 seats, making it the second-largest university stadium in the United States. Which university had the largest stadium at the time? Which university did Stanford supplant as the owner of the second-largest university stadium?

I'm going to guess that one of the two answers is the Yale Bowl. Don't have a guess about the other one.
