IMO Hargaugh agreed to the suspension because it will stop the B1G investigation. That means he will be able to coach in the post-season because the NCAA will move too slowly to prevent it. Of course Michigan needs to defeat tOSU to qualify, but Harbaugh probably thought he wasn't going to get the injunction and this was "plan B".

IMO it is very probable Hargaugh will receive a "Show Cause Penalty" from the NCAA related to the climate of violations he has allowed/fostered in his program, some of which he directly participated in. This penalty will be similar to the one Chip Kelly received at Oregon, and Harbaugh will do as Kelly did, preempt the punishment by taking a NFL job.  JH personally apparently did a few relatively minor things but then he lied about it. That was an ongoing issue that was not yet resolved. The "spygate" situation has already caused one coach to resign and the linebacker coach to get fired. Even if that is the extent of it (which is improbable), JH has made himself no friends on the NCAA enforcement front.  He will get no slack. JH just wants to win his National Championship and move on. He is moving on in any case.
