Players who have graduated may not have a choice or their priorities may have changed. Their graduate program of choice may not be available, or they have not been admitted to it at Stanford. There are factors in players lives that we are not aware, and these factors may have more importance than football or Stanford.
I transferred to Stanford and gave up a year of Basketball eligibility (was co-captain my junior year). Did not play Basketball at Stanford instead studied hard and completed a co-term engineering degree in 2 years. My priority was academics over sports.
Better to have positive messages than to have the program sledged on social media as they leave.
