You are correct Sir! Here's a video of John Lynch on the 10th anniversary of his first pitch in the Marlins' organization (for the Kane County Cougars in 1992) throwing out the first pitch, along with Charlie Hough who threw the first pitch in a Marlins regular season game. Interestingly, Hough's catcher for that game, Jeff Torborg, was the manager of the Marlins, and he caught Hough's pitch on that 10th anniversary.

Lynch's catcher on the Cougars, Mike Redmond, was also on hand to receive the first pitch...he was in his sixth season with the Florida Marlins at that time. A cool moment. Incidentally, the Giants' Edgar Renterria was on that minor league club as a 16 year old.
