Hi All,

Frequently when there is a discussion on this board about what Coaches could/should be hired for the  '2 Revenue High Visibility Sports = Football, MensBasketball'.. .it always seems like people have their sights lower on 'the little engine that might type of coach'

If you want to WIN BIG in the 2 BIG Revenue Sports, = Football & MensBasketball ....one needs to GO hire a Charismatic, BigTime Head Coach  (Who will Attract Recruits with his Charisma & Energize the FanBase !)

And if someone says, Stanford doesn't 'want to play in those fields of the $60+Million Dollar Contracts for Head Coaches of these 2 sports, all we need to do is look & see what having that 'laissez-faire' - Go 'small engine that could' attitude for Football & MensBasketball'  .... almost did to Stanford Sports as a whole, which was to have Stanford Sports almost 'not invited into a big Power Conference',   ...because despite having won the most NCAA championships overall (e.g. Stanford),  ...PowerConferences & TelevisionNetworks & BigTime recruits in those 2 Big Revenue sports, ....only Respect You, Extend lucrative invitations to you, & Want to come play for you, ... if you are Top20 in Football & Top20 in Mens Basketball !


So for Mens Basketball now (and Football in the Future), since we are going into the ACC, why  not Spend BigBank ...Open the CheckBook up FULLY, & go after some BigTime Mens Basketball Coaches who have charisma like a :

• Jay Wright (ex Villanova Coach, as someone else mentioned)
  
• Mark Few
  
• Chris Mullin
  
• Isaiah Thomas (ex Detroit Piston)
  
• Kevin McHale
  
• John Calipari (who may be tired of Kentucky by now)
  
• Shaka Smart
  
  
• or if we want Younger Guys ...
  
  
• The Current FAU coach = Dusty May
  
• The Current Seton Hall coach = Shaheen Holloway
  
• Kevin Garnett
  
• Vince Carter
