Turn the schoolboys into full-grown adults: Change NIL agreements to require an athlete's "services" to include bowl games, with sweeteners in the form of bonu$e$ for performance.  Problem solved. The bait-and-switch BS must go. I'm paying to see the hotshots, not "the future".

Except you can't. It is for their Name, Image, and Likeness, not their football playing skills. On paper, it isn't "pay for play". The NIL stuff is constrained to be independent of playing. Change the rules and you risk making the players employees. Different sets of problems. Either way, it is not IMO "college football".
