I don’t know if she’s all that bad. WSU was a bad outside shooting game for her and brought her stats down, but before that she was shooting .364, 4th on the team. After today’s game she’s 10/29 for .345—not amazing, but not terrible either.

Yes, conclusions being made from a very small sample size (only 24 attempts). Look at it this way...Cam is now 9 for 24 this season. Pretty solid %. If only 1 of her misses went in, she would be 10/24, which is 41.6%. She's also taken a couple desperation/end of shot clock threes in that mix.

I'm going with my gut here, and not relying completely on this small sample size. Put simply, Cam is a great shooter. She has great mechanics in her shot. She understands balance. Her feet are always set. The ball rotates correctly with a good arc. Her release point is the same. She has great touch. She has proven that at 19 feet, with her feet set, unguarded, she can make over 90%. I believe she will be a 40%+ shooter on open threes (at 22ft). I bet Tara and the team know this because she probably proves it over and over again at practice. She also delivers at crunch time. Proof is in the pudding, but I think (hope) we could get to a point where Cam is exactly who we want taking a 3 at the end of the game.
