Stanford with a very big 4-3 victory today over #2 Texas A&M.
Stanford won at 2 and 3 doubles to go up 1-0.
Blokhina and Hui won at 4 and 5. Blake got rolled at 1 by the #1 ranked singles player in the country. Stanford led 3-1. Ma, Yepifanova and Xu had each lost the first set in their match but won the 2nd set. Ma fell 6-2 in the 3rd. Yepifanova was up a break at 4-2, but lost in a tie-breaker 7-6. It was all up to Xu. She took control and kept it, winning 6-1!
