The tribute ceremony after the game was very moving to me.  What struck me the most was how each of her former players emphasized how much impact she had on their lives outside of basketball and how she kept in touch with them decades after they graduated from Stanford.  They described being a part of a sisterhood that endured time and distance.

I couldn't help but think of the impact this record and this ceremony could have on potential recruits.  In fact, the video of this ceremony should be shown to every recruit on her official visit.

I hope the players that left Tara, like Betts and Nivar, got a chance to watch this ceremony.  IMO, they selfishly put themselves ahead of the sisterhood and missed the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of Tara's legacy.  How fitting it would be for Stanford to win the National Championship this year as Betts watches the final on TV.

After watching the post game press conference, I love TVD even more.  There aren't many people in the world as humble, talented, and giving as her.  I hope she coaches our team until she's 92.  She obviously loves doing it, and she's the best.
