Ma/Yepifanova d. Cantos Siemers/Spencer 6-1
Hui/Xu d. Atway/Chavez 6-3
Blake/Blokhina down 4-5
In the singles matches:
Cantos Siemers (OSU) d. Blake 6-1, 6-2
Ma easily handled Ratliff 6-0, 6-2
Yepifanova also won in straight sets 7-6 (3), 6-3
Blokhina clinched it and won in two tight sets 7-6 (5), 7-5
Hui was up a set, but down in the second tiebreak, 6-3, 6-6 (3-6)
Xu was up a break in the third 6-1, 5-7, 3-0
We'll play the winner of the late match between (3) Oklahoma State v. (6) Texas in the semis tomorrow
(4) Michigan already advanced in the first quarters of the day beating Virginia who had ousted (5) Pepperdine yesterday and they await the winner of the intrastate matchup between (1) North Carolina and (8) N.C. State
