ColoradoTree, did you see any of the match? Vekic won 7-5, 6-2 and the WTA has highlights on their YouTube channel. Hard to tell from just selected clips, but Hui was able to break Vekic a couple of times but in the end, too much power and consistency from the tour veteran.

However, pushing Vekic to 7-5 in the first set and the experience playing against someone of her caliber, I imagine, will be invaluable to Hui's growth as a player. Vekic would be a definite step up against anyone Hui would be playing at the collegiate level for a bit.

Sadly, I missed it, but wowza, that's an outstanding scoreline for her against such a good player. A really, really encouraging sign for her, and it bodes well for how she might do at or near the top of the lineup in a couple of years. 

What an awesome experience for her on what are basically her home courts.
