Logan Webb had an outstanding year in 2023, finishing second in Cy Young voting. He had 194 strikeouts, a 3.25 ERA and a losing record (11-13).

Webb didn't make this list, but he came close. Six pitchers in MLB history recorded at least 200 strikeouts and a sub-2.75 ERA in a season...and a losing record.

1) Two played for the same club.
2) Half were in the dead ball era (pre-1920).
3) Three of the four who are eligible for the Hall of Fame are in the Hall of Fame. The one who isn't in the Hall of Fame was a career-long Dodger (or was on the predecessor teams, Robins or Superbas).
