The TreeCast with Troy Clardy: Kicking It With Karty (March 20, 2024)
Karty's line about opposing kickers going 5-for-10 at Stanford stadium over an undefined period of time got my curious so I looked at the past two seasons of home games. Interesting that opposing kickers have been .500 each of the past two seasons. Also interesting that Karty had so many more makes and attempts this past year compared to 2022. I think offense was better moving the ball in 2023 but couldn't finish and Karty had a lot of longer FGAs while Shaw in 2022 had a very anemic offense and also didn't like trying long FGs unless time was expiring.
