Being a Stanford student protesting a cause does not mean laws regarding trespass, harassment, property destruction, or assault no longer apply, and they should be enforced by campus police.

When I was an undergrad in the late 1980's, there was a quote in the Daily from a protester saying charges should be dropped against the students arrested while occupying the president's office because it might affect their law school admissions.

The late 80's were fairly benign, so I'm almost afraid to ask, what were they protesting that required occupying the president's office? Yachts bedsheets and weddings to grad students?
