Looks like the A's will be playing at Sutter Health Park (capacity 14,000) in Sacramento, the current home of the Sacramento River Cats, which is the AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The A's have a rent-free lease that will begin next season, and will continue through 2027, with an option for a fourth year, ostensibly prior to their move to Las Vegas. They will not be known as the Sacramento A's, in fact they will not have an affiliated geographical name. They'll just be the A's/Athletics.

Fun facts:
 - The River Cats led all minor leagues in attendance from 2000 through 2009.
 - Their attendance peaked in 2001 with 901,214 fans, and has fallen steadily ever since (though they still led the minors in attendance as recently as 2015 with 672,354 fans). In 2022, they drew 372,769 fans.
 - The River Cats have won five PCL championships, including back to back in 2007 and 2008, most recently in 2019. They also won in 2003 and 2004. 
 - From 2000 to 2014, the River Cats were affiliates of the A's. Starting in 2015, they have been affiliates of the Giants.
 - Prior to 2000, they were the Vancouver Canadians, and were purchased by Art Savage and moved to Sacramento.
 - The Sacramento Kings/Vivek Ranadive are the majority owners.
 - 22 of the 28 players on the current roster have MLB experience.
