Re Elic, he was walking past the stands (walking fine) and someone shouted out and asked why he wasn't suited up. Elic kind of shrugged and said "I'm not cleared yet" -- cleared from what, by whom, he didn't say...
If he required surgery for the separated shoulder, he'd need 4 to 6 months recovery time. That's my theory, but it's just a guess.
By the way, another amazing aspect of Ayomanor's redshirt freshman campaign is that it was his first year back from an ACL/MCL/meniscus tear the previous season.
So the dude not only clocks 21.5mph on 97-yard touchdowns but he's also a frickin' warrior.
