I agree, Regan to start. Hopefully Regan performs better than her Friday performance. My question is, if Regan struggles and the game gets out of hand, meaning Fullerton builds a big lead, do we bring in Nija or just save Nija for the elimination game?
If the game is truly out-of-hand (and not a win-or-go-home game), Coach Allister has shown to turn to the other pitchers on the staff (Alyssa Houston and Kylie Chung).
It's official (that harkens to the repeated matchups in baseball): Stanford and Fullerton will face off in the regional final tomorrow.
Agree, the situation really illustrates how important at least some pitching depth is the game. We need someone to step up now that we are in the end game, and show they can get people out at least fairly consistently. You can have all the hitters in the world, but if you can't get the other side out you are toast.
