SF was once a wonderful city to visit.

If you dig into the data, violent crime is much lower in SF than it was 10-20 years ago.  And far, far lower than, say, in the 80s or 90s. It's not even close.

Not saying that SF doesn't have plenty of problems.  But the idea that it's some sort of uninhabitable war zone is just false.
