Ohtani, batting leadoff, just went 6 for 6 with 3 HRs, 2 steals and 10 RBI.  Looks like he had 17 total bases on his 6 hits.  (Do the steals add to that stat?) Needless to say, he broke the 50-level for both HRs and steals.  8 of his 10 RBI came with 2 out.

Has anyone ever had an offensive game like that?  Sheesh.

Edit: I looked it up -- Shawn Green had 19 TB on 4 HRs, 2 doubles and a single back in 2002, also for the Dotchers.

Didn't Joe Adcock have 18 bases? Four HRs and a double?

18 players have hit four HRs, including Green and Mays. Also Schmidt, Gehrig, Adcock, Colavito, Gil Hodges, Chuck Klein. Bob Horner. And half-a-dozen more recently; JD Martinez, Mark Whiten, Mike Cameron, Carlos Delgado, Josh Hamilton, and someone named Scooter Gennett, who had 87 career HRs and Pat Seerey who had 86 career HRs. And in the dead ball era, Bobby Lowe (71 career HRs) and Ed Delahanty (101 career HRs) hit four in a game. Two of Delahanty's were inside-the-park.

How could you forget the fabled Scooter Gannett?  Heck, he ended his big league career with our hometown nine, playing 21 games for SF in 2019.
