I agree with others that msqueri's writing about the fourth down calls rings very true.
The extenuating circumstances surrounding this game make it unwise, imo, to view Saturday's performances as any kind of indicator of what we'll see from this team (or Clemson) in the future.
With Daniels out, I don't believe Stanford has a realistic chance against VaTech, a team that has a run-first mentality (top 20ish in rushing attempts and top 40ish nationally in rushing yards), a very mobile QB, and a defense that's (probably) better than Clemson's. Brace yourselves for a really ugly game Saturday.
