Ha, when I saw the question, my first thought was "why wouldn't PAsportsfan want me not to answer the question", and my second thought was "I can't believe PAsportsfan remembers that I went to the national title game better than I do".  I'm getting old.

Fun game, which Clemson won (against Alabama) in a bit of a blowout.  The game was pre-pandemic (I believe 2018 or 2019).  I was there with my son, and we wound up sitting in the Clemson section, and they were wonderful and very gracious to be around.  Although we had no official rooting interests, it was hard not to root for the Tigers.  Little did I know that we would be conference rivals 5 years later...
