Sort of. At least one I am pretty sure he saw the defensive holding and treated it like a free play. And in general when there is a defensive penalty on a turnover there is a non-trivial chance the penalty contributed to the turnover. But yes, mixed bag and as usual I think Total QBR does a fair job of approximating performance.
The broader story on Daniels is that in September he was a thoroughly non-major college football player and just absolutely horrendous and since then has been very mediocre. We can compete with mediocre. If he plays these next two weeks like he has post-September I think it puts his season in a different light.
