In 1894, who was Stanford's first non-Western college football opponent?

Is it an Ivy League team like Yale or Princeton or another powerhouse of the time like Army?  Or maybe a midwestern team like Michigan or Wisconsin?  That far back, I feel like it's going to be someone really obscure like Tulane.
