A few minor comments: 

- St. Vincent's is now known as Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.  
- Technically, Nevada State is now known as Nevada-Reno. They were a popular opponent of Stanford between 1899 and 1931, playing 18x.
- USC was known as The Methodists back in 1905. Stanford was their first major college opponent.
- Stanford played Chicago twice on 12/25/94 and 12/29/94. Chicago went 14-7-1 that season, the most games any college has played in a single season. Apart from SU, they played Michigan, Northwestern (2x), Purdue, Iowa, Wisconsin, Beloit, two YMCAs, three high schools, the Chicago Athletic Assn (3x), and two athletic clubs. Most interestingly, their only road games were the two versus Stanford (LA and SF), the Salt Lake YMCA in Salt Lake City and their home and home with Northwestern...and Evanston is basically a home game. Head coach was Amos Alonzo Stagg. Stanford's head coach was Walter Camp. Herbert Hoover was still team manager. Pretty cool.


- Santa Clara's last regular season game against Stanford was 1952, playing 35 times in 41 seasons. Notre Dame's first regular season game against Stanford was 1954.
