Loss to UCLA last night, (22-25, 22-25,22-25). First game was close, got to 22-22, then UCLA ran three straight. Second set was close, got to 22-23. Third set, Stanford was two down most of the match.
Stanford hit 0.076, which might be a record low for them, or close to it. 26 kills, 20 errors. UCLA hit .253. Luke McFall had 7 kills, no errors in 12 attempts...no one else was on their game.
The loss takes Stanford (7-8) out of the Top 10, most likely. Stanford plays #8 Pepperdine next week, on 3/14 at Burnham and 3/15 at Maples.
