Jones instead of Purdy?   No, no, no, no, no, no, no.  And 1,000 more no’s.  

Jones is mediocre at best - just another guy.  He is the modern day equivalent of Steve DeBerg - just good enough to lose.  

Purdy, while not a Tier One guy, is a solid Tier 2 QB.  I would not trade him for anything less than a top of the First Round selection.

I don’t think Purdy would get you a top of the first round pick. But I also dont think they are trading him. Jones will be a solid backup.
