I think SF will sign Purdy to an extension for something in the $40-$50 million AAV range.  I think that is a fair price given the pay range for QB’s.  There is no need to consider a franchise tag since he is already under contract for the 2025 season.

Also, what do you think are their greatest draft needs? I'm guessing DL, OL, LB, DB, WR, RB, more or less in that order, subject to change if they move Aiyuk. I suspect they will need a punter as well, there are five good ones in the draft.
