I agree Stanford has to win all three games against BC as an absolute minimum for top 16 seed. Even beating BC three times won't improve Stanford's RPI.
That's an interesting idea about putting a bid in to host at a local college. I believe that bid has to be entered at least a month before the end of the season so NCAA can evaluate if the current condition of the field and associated facilities meets their criteria for post season play. Santa Clara might be a good choice. Maybe not Cal (32-18) because there could be a very slight possibility at the time of bid entry for Cal to be seeded.
