Stanford-Cal is #29, Stanford-USC is #62, and Stanford-UCLA is #72.
It is pretty obvious they put an emphasis on “rivalries” that featured consistently highly rated teams.
Penn State/Ohio State in the Top Ten? They have only played each continuously since 1993. Prior to that they had met only eight times in history.
