Or they choose to go elsewhere because of the long travel for Stanford athletes in the ACC interrupting their training and pre-event preparation.  We heard the WVB coach say their attempt to accommodate the time zone change last year was a mistake.  I take that as a tacit admission that the time zone change (and presumably the hours on the plane) are issues yet to be accounted for.
