Many people caution over years that you have to make sure everyone knows you are right no matter what and smartest guy in a room, I hope they are wrong. It’s why I never posted over the years until trying now because what’s the point? A few of ur recent comments are blended in one reply so we don’t crowd the board. Writing that everyone is shocked how CJ did this season is wrong. Many in the country knew he would be just like this season and like Elic level later in college career. Your eval was just way off no big deal. You like to double triple down on initial opinions. You actually said it’s all such a surprise and nobody had him reaching Elic level. It took multiple 100 yard games before you said much positive about him or a game ball because it didn’t fit your eval. CJ was #7 wr in nation so it was really no surprise to anyone he would reach these levels. Another uninformed post was you wanted all this credit for saying Bill Belichick only won because of Tom Brady. He had stout Patriot defenses, best special teams, great line, really good draft picks by Belichick and coaching. I’m not a BB fan at all but what he did as head coach is not a fluke. He was able to consistently win over decades and end up second winningest coach in history for reasons outside of just one player. I know you got congratulations for hours of posts and bios for 60 possible Stanford coaches but why not a list with candidates tied to Luck since that would actually make sense to discuss on the board? I will try to look into it when free and post any match. I don’t have unlimited time to research Stanford all day as have a family and work that comes first.
While CJ was a highly rated HS recruit, there is nothing about his record at USC/Wisconsin that would indicate he would have a breakout year. His most productive games prior to this season were five catches, and 60 reception yards.
