Yes...but isn't that what the GM position is supposed to handle?

To some degree yes - I was thinking of from the more hands-on coaching perspective since ultimately, the hc (and assts) are the ones recruiting players and developing overall schemes, game plans and adjustments, based on what they have. The NIL/$ stuff, definitely more a GM responsibility.
