Yes, it\'s true that Texas would ask for a lot. What\'s not true is that USC would be a partner in that. USC would be a rival, and that rivalry would be a counterbalance. Moreover, USC would have an interest in being in a western division away from Texas. It would more easily win the west and face Texas in a more lucrative conference championship.
