I think their records speak for themselves.  Dawkins had a pretty bad 156-115 (.576) record while at Stanford.  But Haase had an even worse, under .500 record of 126-127.  I don’t think you would get a lot of pushback if you made the case that Haase was a worse coach than Dawkins at Stanford, but that doesn’t mean he was good.

In just about 2 seasons, Kyle Smith is 41-26 (.612), which is better than either of them, and particularly impressive given the state of the program he inherited.
