Isn't there a conference tournament for women's tennis in the ACC? Or are you saying that if Stanford loses in Dallas they would need to win the ACC tournament to make the NCAA field?
I don't know if Stanford needs to win the ACC tournament to make the NCAA field. But I think they need a stronger resume than they have now. Their record is 11-8 and of the 8 losses none are really bad ones. Stanford has lost to teams currently ranked 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 16, 22, 24 and 46. But Stanford has only one win over a top 50 team - Cal.
I would say beat SMU (#30), then beat at least one higher seeded team in the conference tournament.
