In the new ITA rankings out today, Stanford has made a big leap up to #33. If the committee uses ITA rankings in determining the NCAA field, this means that Stanford's chances have improved quite a bit since last week when they were #47. If Stanford beats Va Tech/Louisville, their shot at making the NCAA field may come down to the next match vs. SMU. Win and get invited. Lose and stay home.
