If we thought our transfer portal woes were bad already, imagine the rush to the exits upon announcing a move to the WCC.  

Though, with UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara now part of their league I hate the idea a bit less than moving to the new Pac-12 or what's left of the Big West.  

So here are a few questions:  

1. Would we still move in tandem with UC Berkeley?  
2. Where would we put the football team? Would we try football independence?  
3. Would we be an attractive enough centerpiece to create an entirely new western league, picking and choosing our new conference-mates out of the pool of P12, WCC, BWC, and MWC schools? If so, who would we convince to join us? 
4. If a return to the west is inevitable, does a WCC landing spot (or any other option) have an expiration date? Does it make sense to jump before we absolutely have to?
