When I think of Title IX non-compliance, I generally think of lost federal funding.  But I'm not even sure if that consequence has teeth...it it certainly not a priority of this Department of Education, which likely doesn't have enough staff/funding.

There has been at least one recent lawsuit filed by (former) student-athletes against San Diego State University for systemic discrimination against women's sports regarding scholarships and benefits.
