Hope so, but Blyashov strikes me as Kendall Kipp level player (which is quite a complement) but not quite at the level of Plummer.
To give you an idea, Blyashov as a (redshirt) sophomore had a hitting percentage of .269 and 3.1 kills per set.
Plummer as a sophomore was hitting .319 and had 4.7 kills per set. She had by far the most attacks on the team.
Kipp as a sophomore hit .339 and 3.9 kills per set. She had the second most attacks on the team behind Baird.

Need to emphasize this was effectively Blyashov’s freshman year, and she improved noticeably as the year went on. Which makes me very optimistic going forward. That said, for me it’s less about her hitting and more about her passing. Sometimes last year it was pretty decent, but she had a few matches where she was erratic. If she cleans that up - and they need that with Rubin graduating - she will be a massive presence this season.
