The article has made waves in the rowing community online, and it's certainly a bad look. We are, however, only getting one side of the story here. And any attempt from the staff to debate the particulars of such accusations is surely a losing battle.
As with many articles of this nature, there are probably truths missing context being used to construct a narrative. I'd be interested in hearing a complete story from both coaches and athletes, but I don't think such a thing is really possible...
Agree that it's interesting that the Review published this and not the Daily, but they have several rowers on record with their claims. Hard to toss it aside as a hit piece when people are putting their names on it, in contrast to the WBB and MWP coaching scandals.
