It will indeed be interesting to see where Sorsby lands. My belief is that he will be considered "damaged goods", and the Raiders already have their QB so their "wild card" approach is off the table :-). IMO there is at least a 20% chance he goes undrafted.

Why would the NFL take a chance on a guy who couldn't follow simple rules in a lower league and then give him a shot in the bigs?  Is he that good??

The NFL is notorious for acting based on a QB having "the tools". Sorsby supposedly can physically do everything a QB needs to do very well. The thought is that these are things that can't be taught. How far you can throw a football, how quick your feet are etc. is considered a natural gift. You have it or you don't. Very few humans have all the skills, or even most of them. Of course, the ability to determine on any given play exactly which skills are relevant and exactly how to use them is also necessary. The theory is those skills can be taught. Sorsby supposedly has all the tools. It is a rare enough find that some NFL personnel directors may be willing to take a chance on character, intellectual ability and reading the field. It is at best risky.
