A part of me is sad that he won't have had 3-4 years of Stanford in his bones anchoring the university in his soul.  Maybe one year was enough.  Would it have been for me?  I'm not sure.  Maybe he'll go back and finish his degree (hopefully not remotely; Stanford is a special physical place).  Don't forget us little fans during your long, successful career :)
