fullmetal, you missed an excellent NYE party.  I met David Chang of Momofuku fame!  If Stanford makes the BCS game next year, make sure you bring your crew.

Next year I'll be sure that my bowl game travel crew is not a crew that falls asleep immediately after dinner after the game!  It was somewhat excusable because we got up for the parade, but man, this weak sauce would not have flown in Miami.  I really wanted to be down at the Marriott--another one of the Stanford/Austin guys was down there to welcome the team back, and he said it was awesome.  I've seen that kind of atmosphere once before when the women's basketball team returned to the hotel after losing the championship game to UConn...the atmosphere was wonderful and priceless.
