#1 NDAM felled by unranked Stanford

we did win as recently as 2022 in South Bend, 16-14, the last three games we've lost 56-23, 49-7, 49-20
Right. Significance of 1990 was #1 ranked and undefeated NDAM, similar to now
of course our 1990 team was better than our 2026 team is this year....
I was there 1990, we did not start well......
I've been to South Bend for three games, 1988, 1990, and 1992.
First time we spent two nights in South Bend, second time one night in some dumpy hotel that was the closest we could find to South Bend that did not have a two minimum, third time we stayed in Chicago....
some ND humor as told to me by an ND alum who has season thix with us
Q: what's the best view of the Golden Dome
A: in your rearview mirror as you are leaving
Q: Why is Notre Dame in South Bend
A: The priests stopped and were waiting to leave until the weather got better
Love the clips, recollections, memories.... Touchdown Tommy! awesome memory
I do believe both Ford and Irvin have big RB talent as did Tommy.
But if you can't get any kind of OLine surge on a run play, all gaps are filled, RB hit at the line or even in backfield, well, then not much Touchdown Tommy II gonna happen.
Hoping for what we saw in Hawaii game. Fearing what we saw in last game.
