no.6 SMU beats no.2 Pitt 3 - 2 at Pitt
A&M lose to Oklahoma

SMU beat Pitt 3-1.
Pitt won the first 25-21, SMU then won 25-19, 38-36, 25-22.
(And they play again at SMU on Sunday.)

Oklahoma beat Texas A&M 3-2.

Pity the poor SMU fan having to sit through that third set.

Why, at least they won at the end.  Sucks to be Pitt and suffer through that, and it counts the same as a 25-11 smackdown.
